Bell's Palsy - 1mth 8 Days

This morning after hubby left for work, I drove to Tung Shin Hospital for my tenth Acupuncture treatment with Dr Cheow Bee Li.

But then I went to Din Auto first before proceeding to Tung Shin Hospital.  Encik Din himself attended to Mercs.  Mercs has exceeded her mileage and due for servicing soon.  Encik Din helped checked the Engine Oil and since it needs topping up, he filled it up for me using the engine oil balance in its bottle. Synthium I think....

He then wished me on a safe journey to KL. Was he being sarcastic?

But then the journey to Tung Shin was smooth with no jam whatsoever. Alhamdullillah.

This time I need not wait long for Dr Cheow to treat me.  Number of needles used? Twenty four. But not all on my face lah......twenty four needles total on my right knee, my left face, left arm and left leg. After twenty minutes, the needles were removed by the nurse. Alhamdullillah.

I took the Sungai Besi highway since I wanted to visit my grandson at Bangi. I also wanted to deliver baby booties (which my mak knitted for kak long when she was a baby) for Muhammad Zawian to use. None of the coloured booties have faded for the last thirty two years. Alhamdullillah.  In shaa Allah, can also be use for my future cucus and cicits...😆😆😆

I went for acupuncture again at Tung Shin Hospital and Sofiyah drove me there. Today was my eighth acupuncture treatment. Still a long way to go and In shaa Allah, may Allah give me strength and speedy recovery during my journey to recovery. Amiinn.

I still continue doing physiotherapy at home. In shaa Allah.

Bell's Palsy - Day 20

This morning I fetched my classmate, Hjh Masuriah at the train station. Hjh Masuriah travelled from Seremban by KTM commuter because her children did not allow her to drive anymore.

When we reached UIA it was already 9.30am. However I managed to attend Tahsin class before Tafsir class began. Alhamdullillah.

After classes at UIA I drove to Tung Shin Hospital for my second acupuncture treatment. I arrived at 12.40pm. I thought I have to wait for the afternoon session, but the clerk at the registration counter assured me that I could still see Dr Cheow Mei Li before 1pm. Alhamdullillah.

Dr Cheow welcomed me again. She is so cheerful. I like her. When I asked her whether she could treat my right knee together with Bell's Palsy, she said "Sure can. Just let me know where your problem area is." Alhamdullillah.

The whole acupuncture session lasted twenty minutes. Then when the nurse came to remove the needles I requested whether she could take a picture of my face. She obliged. ☺

I drove home, this time taking the Sungai Besi route via Smart Tunnel.  Alhamdullillah I reached home in just fifteen minutes.

Bell's Palsy - Acupuncture at Tung Shin Hospital

After physiotherapy yesterday morning I went to see Dr Soezyani, because I was having pain on my left around my waist. Alhamdullillah it has nothing to do with my Bell's Palsy. Probably muscle strain after I did Zumba last Sunday. 😊

Anyway I then asked Dr Souzyani whether I could go for acupuncture besides doing physiotherapy. Dr Souzyani said its okay to do acupuncture but she recommended that I go to Tung Shin Hospital for the treatment.

So I called Tung Shin Hospital for an appointment and they told me to come in anytime during office hours.

I went with Sofiyah after solat Zohor to Tung Shin Hospital. Traffic was smooth from Kajang except when making the U turn along Jln Pudu to reach the hospital. It took almost half an hour just to U turn.

Anyway when we reached the hospital, finding a parking lot was easy too. There were ample parking lots way up the hill beside the hospital. We have to walk down the hill, about 100 metres to the entrance of the Chinese Medical wing of the hospital.

At the registration counter, the lady clerk recommended that I see Dr Cheow, lady acupuncturist. Alhamdullillah.

Sofiyah and I then went to the Chinese Medical Clinic located at the Lower ground floor of the hospital's Chinese Medical wing.

When we reached the clinic I was surprised when Dr Cheow herself welcomed me. She ushered me to her room and interviewed me re my Bell's Palsy.

Then she took me to her treatment room 302.  Before she began inserting the acupuncture needles to my face she told me to recite 'Bismillah' and also said "Its not me that cure you but Allah". I was surprised when she said that and wondered whether she's a revert. Will ask her next time.

The acupuncture treatment lasted twenty minutes. Any pain? Yes. Like ant bite...😆

Sofiyah drove us home.  I was unsure about the route to Kajang from the hospital.  Instead of taking the left lane to Smart Tunnel and Sungei Besi...we took the right lane and had to follow the old road to Kajang i.e. via Jalan Pudu and Jalan Cheras.

Since both of us were hungry, we stopped at KFC and finally reached home around 6pm. Alhamdullillah.

Then after dinner I did physiotherapy for my Bell's Palsy.
