Kursus Haji Week Four

This morning managed to cook nasi goring Nekliz! Hehehe.....

Then laling and I drove to Masjid Penjara Kajang to attend Kursus Haji Week Four.

When hubby returned from our farm in the evening, he brought along the 'buah tangan' from Baha's mom for me. I was so touched. She gave me a ceramic bowl and plate made in Lombok and a packet of fried soya beans. Alhamdullillah.

New Farmhand from Lombok

Hubby was at KLIA2 together with Baha and Deen to welcome our new farmhand, Rozi, also from Lombok. Rozi is also related to both Baha and Deen.

I was so touched when Rozi's mother gave us presents, two packets of Lombok's traditional cookies.

So Baha can now continue helping me with Rumah Liza, our homestay upkeep since our new farmhand has arrived.

I have yet to meet Rozi in person, In shaa Allah when I return to Pedas this weekend.

Rozi, welcome to our livestock farm.

Nasihat dari Ustaz Abdullah Bukhari

Bacalah semua surah...Sabda Rasulullah: اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شَفِيعًا لِأَصْحَابِهِ اقْرَءُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ الْبَقَرَةَ وَسُورَةَ آلِ عِمْرَانَ فَإِنَّهُمَا تَأْتِيَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَيَايَتَانِ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافَّ تُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ أَصْحَابِهِمَا اقْرَءُوا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ Ertinya: Bacalah al-Quran, kerana ia akan datang memberi syafaat kepada pembacanya pada hari kiamat nanti. Bacalah Zahrawain, iaitu surah Al Baqarah dan Ali 'Imran, kerana keduanya akan datang pada hari kiamat nanti, seperti 2 tompok tumpuk awan menaungi pembacanya, atau seperti 2 kelompok burung yang sedang terbang dalam formasi hendak membela pembacanya. Bacalah Al Baqarah, kerana dengan membacanya beroleh berkat, dan dengan tidak membacanya beroleh penyesalan, dan pembacanya tidak dapat dikuasai (di kalahkan) oleh ahli sihir (Sahih Muslim).

ALLAH'S PLANS

*ALLAH'S PLANS*

Some things are beyond planning.

And life doesn't always turn out as planned.

You don't plan for a broken heart.

You don't plan for an autistic child.

You don't plan for spinsterhood.

You don't plan for a lump in your breast.

You plan to be young forever.

You plan to climb the corporate ladder.

You plan to be rich and powerful.

You plan to be acclaimed and successful.

You plan to conquer the universe.

You plan to fall in love - and be loved forever.

You don't plan to be sad.

You don't plan to be hurt.

You don't plan to be broke.

You don't plan to be betrayed.

You don't plan to be alone in this world You plan to be happy. You don't plan to be shattered .

*Sometimes if you work hard enough, you can get what you want. But MOST times, what you want and what you get are two different things*.

*We, mortals, plan. But so does Allah in the heavens*.

*Sometimes, it is difficult to understand Allah's plans especially when His plans are not in consonance with ours* .

*Often, when He sends us crisis, we turn to Him in anger. True, we cannot choose what Allah wishes us to carry, but we can carry it with courage knowing that He will never abandon us nor send something we cannot cope with* .

*Sometimes, Allah breaks our spirit to save our soul*

*Sometimes, He breaks our heart to make us whole*.

*Sometimes, He allows pain so we can be stronger*.

*Sometimes, Allah sends us failure so we can be humble*.

*Sometimes, He allows illness so we can take better care of ourselves*.

*And sometimes, Allah takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything He gave us* .

*Make plans, but understand that we live by Allah's grace*

Surround yourself with Muslims who practice the Deen. They are your only True Friends in this Life and in the Hereafter.

Not everybody is out there to judge you, there are some who want the best for you and want to help you get into Al-Jannah, value them.

Indeed, a friend who doesn't care about your Aakhirāh is not really your friend.

Sometimes the hardest person for you to correct is yourself. There is no shame in being wrong, the shame is in choosing to stay wrong.

Whatever takes you NEAR to Allāh, takes you AWAY from Hellfire. Whatever takes you AWAY from Allāh, takes you CLOSER to Hellfire.

We all take tomorrow for granted because we believe tomorrow will always be there. Tomorrow may be there, but we may not!

Who said "TOMORROW" is guaranteed? Make the use of the "TODAY" that you are blessed with!

Yesterday many thought that they would see today, and today many will think they will see tomorrow...

Death could be tonight, in the next hour, the next second, yet we live as if we still have so many years to live.

You may be rich, famous or have a high status in this dunya, but to the Angel of Death, you're just another name on the list.

Our death and meeting with our Creator is approaching and yet our biggest worry is what are we going to wear tomorrow? #competing

One day you'll just be a memory for people, do everything you can to please Allāh.

Just imagine how many people were here with us last year, but are no longer here again! Even our turn is soon approaching. May Allāh forgive us and forgive them 😔

We walk with our heads high up in the sky, unaware that one day we'll be trapped 6' Feet under the ground. #Reminder

You look for the latest fashion and designer clothes, but don't forget O' Son of Adām! You'll end up being wrapped up in just a white shroud.

Live to please the Creator, not the Creation. If Allāh is happy with us, what more can we ask for?

You wouldn't throw away a diamond to pick up a rock, so in the same way, don't throw away the Akhirāh by chasing the Dunyā.

How do you expect to get Al-Jannah when you haven't worked for it in Dunyā? That's like expecting to pass an exam you never took a class for.

We live in a time where people leave out food in fear of becoming overweight, but cannot leave out sins in fear of Allāh!

For a believer. — you may be penniless, homeless, unemployed, sick and feel like you have nothing. But you have the one thing that money can't buy: "Allāh".

Allāh knows what you want, what you need, what you deserve, at what time & what place, trust Him & His decisions, He knows while you don't.

If a kafir celebrity mentioned your name to the world, how happy would you be? Mention Allāh in a gathering, and He mentions you to the angels!

And, make the Qurān your companion and a part of your life. Don't let yourself become a stranger to it. The Qurān is like a friend, the longer the friendship lasts the more you’ll know of its secrets.

Repent

ُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

"Truly, Allāh loves those who repent, and He loves those who cleanse themselves." [Al-Quran 2:222].

May Allāh purify our hearts Aameen.

And peace and blessing of Allah be upon our noble Messenger of Allah, Muhammad and his household.
