MWM 2017 Certificate #runnorlirun

When Kak Ngah and her hubby came home to join us for dinner this evening, she brought along the printed eCert from MWM 2017. Thank you very much Kak Ngah.

Alhamdullillah I could still maintain my 10Km speed under two hours. 

In shaa Allah hope to be able to maintain the same speed for my next 10KM in the Standard Chartered KL Marathon come May 2017 eventhough I signed up for the 10KM 'Leisure' category. Hehee....

I should have sign up for 10KM 'Speed' Category because Gun Time is at 6.45am whereas 'Leisure' is at 7.45am. Aiyoooo...so panas by then lor....

Lesson learnt: In shaa Allah next year run 'Speed' category...Dont care lah if the 10KM 'Cruise' runners potong me along the way...hahahhaa....

MWM 2017 @Stadium Shah Alam

Kak Ngah fetched Sofiyah and I at 5am this Sunday morning. We drove to Shah Alam Stadium, the venue for this year's Malaysia Women Marathon. 

Since the Surau for ladies at the Stadium could not accommodate Sofiyah and I (it was packed with other runners), we laid down our prayer mat and had our solat Fajr just outside the Surau. Then when more runners turn up to pray too, kak ngah then laid the straw mat which we brought along too. 

After praying, I went to the Starting line and joined other runners who were warming up with the running coach on the stage.

Sharp at 6.30am we began our 10KM run. Alhamdulillah I Finished the run in less than two hours. Yeyyyyyy..... 

Race Kit Collection MWM 2017

After Kursus Haji yesterday morning, kak ngah and I drove to Hotel Arcapella Resort in Shah Alam to collect my MWM Race Kit.  #runnorlirun

We had our solat Zohor at the hotel's surau. The surau is spacious and complete with airconditioning and wall fans too.  Kudos to Hotel Arcapella Resort.

Since we have not had our lunch, kak ngah drove us to Spiced Pumpkin Cafe which was highly recommended by nephew Mohd Faizul Irwan aka Abang via his fb page. 🙄

We were waiting for our orders when...surprise surprise....Abang came to our table. He brought along his family and his mak too. They have already made reservations and their table was at the front near the entrance.  No wonder kak ngah and I could not sit there when we arrived. 😁😁😁

Before we left the restaurant we sat with Abang and family and took pictures too. Alhamdulillah. 

Run 5Km at Kompleks Belia Paroi

Sofiyah and I stayed the night at Mak's abode. So this morning after Fajr prayer I went to Kompleks Belia Paroi to train for MWM 2017 this coming Sunday.

I only ran 5km on the bitumen track at the stadium.  Well hope to Finish the 10km Sunday. In shaa Allah.
