Ikan Ketutu (Sungai)

I took Grab again to KL Central after sending Sofiyah to work. This time the fare was just RM28. Alhamdulillah. Also the third time I use Grab. 😊

Once I reached KL Central, hurriedly walked to Platform Three for the train to Tg Malim.  Alhamdulillah, the train was already waiting and we left KL Central as scheduled which is 1.30pm.

Arrived Tg Malim about ninety minutes later. I went to the surau to solat jamaq Zuhor and Asar. Then I waited for laling.

I thought we will overnight in Tg Malim but laling said we have to return home soonest since he has a meeting with his employer tomorrow morning.

So we left Tg Malim and headed to Sungai Besar where laling had another meeting with his workers. We finally left for Kuala Selangor where we had seafood dinner at D'Coral Ikan Bakar. 

After dinner on our way out, I saw this huge aquarium with a sign that reads "Ikan Ketutu (Sungai) 1KG RM180.00". Wonder how it tastes like. Steamed or Goring Tiga Rasa?

Chinese Tea...can refill lah...

Whenever hubby and I have our dinner at a restaurant serving middle eastern food aka restoren arab...when we ordered our drinks, we would have Arabic tea.

So, when we had our dinner at Restoren D Coral Ikan Bakar, we ordered Chinese Tea since it was stated in their menu.

The tea was served in a teapot with two cute little teacups.  It was piping hot when it reached our table.  When I poured the tea into the tiny teacups, bits of tea leaves were seen at the bottom of the teacups.

We sipped the tea slowly while waiting for our food.  It was refreshing and aromatic when we drank it.  Besides the tea leaves there were also cloves and crysanthemun flowers.

I honestly did not know that we could refill the pot of tea until the tea colour becomes lighter.  My fb friend told me to ask for a refill the next time I eat at this restaurant. Ok will do In shaa Allah.

Dinner Ikan Bakar @Kuala Selangor

Hubby and I were on our way home to Kajang and since I was very hungry, hubby took me to Restoran D'Coral Ikan Bakar dan Thai Seafood, after our solat Maghrib at the Masjid Kuala Selangor.

The restaurant could be seen, on our left side, as soon as we reached the end of the Kuala Selangor bridge from the masjid.

The restaurant is very spacious and we could also dine outdoors on the patio overlooking the river.  But it was drizzling....so we had to dine within the restaurant.

The dishes we ordered were very delicious especially the steamed and fried siakap together.  The fish was fresh indeed otherwise dear hubby would not eat it.  The buttered prawns were delicious too. But the sotong....aiyaaa....not so nice lah. Perhaps if the sotong were cooked in another style the taste would be different I guess.

At this complex there is a tour agent if visitors would like to watch fireflies at Kuala Selangor.  I saw printed on the notice board the scheduled times..7pm and 10pm.  There were plenty of life jackets in its office so the trip is definitely safe. 

So, while hubby was paying the bill, I took these pictures at the complex.

I will definitely return for more delicious ikan bakar and seafood here, In shaa Allah.
