Well, Alhamdullillah, the floor and also the wall tiles are now complete. The kitchen windows are also fixed. The kitchen sink already installed. Oh ya, also the bathroom sink already installed.
Our contractor has cleared the mess within the 'rumah tengah' (middle house) and we hope to turn the rumah tengah into the guest's bedroom. The actual bedroom is too tiny, so we will turn it into the linen room cum store room.
Note the tiang tengah (central pillar) of the house. When the house was being built by our ancestors, it was said that bits of gold were buried under the pillar....and any attempt to dig it out...BEWARE....the whole house will come tumbling down.....Hmmmmmm...
