Steam Fresh River Lobsters


When my husband came home from work this evening, he brought along 1 kg of fresh river lobsters. He bought it at his favourite restaurant in Sungei Panjang. The owner was my husband's good friend. So, after cleaning the lobsters, I steamed the lobsters with all the required ingredients. Would you like to try it too?? You can also use fish and prawns. Here's the recipe:

5 pcs fresh river lobsters
5 cloves garlic (chopped finely)
Salt to taste

Arrange the lobsters onto a tray and sprinkle the salt onto it. Add chopped garlic. Put on steamer and steam for approx.15 mins.

2tbsp oil
1 large onion (chopped)
3 pcs garlic (chopped)
a dash of black pepper
1 egg (use the white only)

Fry the chopped onion and garlic until slightly brown, and pour over the steamed lobsters. Add egg white and black pepper.

Ready to eat!
