Shadowing Hubby again.....

This morning I accompanied hubby on his morning walk again.  Alhamdullilah hubby could walk faster now.  He even tried one of the apparatus after walking a few rounds.  Today he did twelve rounds equivalent to 2.2 km. Syabas dear hubby.

We then had breakfast of fried mee hoon which I cooked before we went walking.  I finished three plates of fried mee hoon......delicious because I cooked it.....hehehe......

The recipe is very easy....

Soak the mee hoon in water until soft
Soak the dried prawn in water also until soft
In a large wok, add palm oil. When oil heat up....Fry the soak dried prawns until crispy..... Then add blended dried chillies, garlic and onions (all agak-agak) and fry these until garing and scented.

Then pour in kicap manis, oyster sauce and tomato sauce (also agak-agak).  Add water enough to cover the soak mee hoon.  Add Maggi Ikan Bilis cube (suka hati lah).

While waiting for the gravy to boil....drain the soak mee hoon.  If got cabbage or sawi, wash and potong2.

Finally when gravy boiling drown the soak mee hoon and stir. Then add in the cabbage or sawi.  Stir2....add little salt and when the mee nicely mixed with the cabbage or sawi and cooked....deliver from wok to Corning Ware dish.  Eat with chili hitam or cili padi jeruk. All home made.

Chili hitam: Blend chili padi with garlic. Add kicap manis and lemon juice. Voila! Sedappp.....buka selera..

Chili padi jeruk: Fresh cili padi. Do not remove its tangkai. Wash clean and drain.  Pour chili padi into bottle.  Add vinegar and a little sugar and salt. Voila voila!! Try lah......hehehe....
